The American Defense MFG Lightweight AR15 MLOK Rail is available in 13.5", 15" and 17" and is designed to provide a mounting platform for Magpul MLOK components and accessories. This handguard features a cut down top rail to allow better grasp on the rail for thumb over bore grip or shooters with smaller hands. Weight savings of 1.3 ounces over our standard MLOK handguard. The front picatinny rail section is designed to fit the Magpul Pro Front Sight perfectly. Not compatible with the AR10 rifle platform.

Replaced my old rail system

Used this to replace an old school quad rail. Way lighter now.

Nice Rail To Match My ADM UIC Billet Receiver Set

First off I wish I would've bought the UIC Light Weight lower that has the cool magwell lightning cuts in it, but regular UIC lower is still bada**. I ordered the 13.5" LW Rail and was mistakenly sent the Regular 13.5" handguard, but ADM took care of it and got me the correct handguard sent out. One thing I will say about the regular handguard is I likes the cutout pattern that have running along the gas tube more then the pill shaped cutouts on the LW version. Machining and finish of this handguard is very nice and since I used it with ADMs billet upper the Anti-Rotation pin worked as it should. I've always been a fan of Midwest Industries handguards and I still think their some of the best available for the price but this ADM handguard is also very nice and I'm happy with my purchase. Used in combination with a 14.5" Rosco barrel and that left about 3/8" of the barrel sticking out. One issue I did run into was installing mlok nuts on the top 12-oclock slots, sometimes depending where I put my RailScales I couldn't get the nut to lock in place because the gas tube area was little too tight for the nut to fully turn and lock down. I had to go back and grind down the width of the nuts ao that they could fully rotate and lock down. Happy with my purchase and my ADM build has turned out to be quite a masterpiece of AR rifles.
